Amman Spa & Hammam and Sultan Spa & Hammam are two spa centres in the heart of Baščaršija, in the Old Town of Sarajevo. Both combine traditional hammam rituals with modern spa treatments in a peaceful setting, and each has its own character.

Amman Spa is a spacious spa centre on three floors in Tabaci street, open to women and men, with seven massage rooms, two traditional Turkish hammams, a private sauna and a cosmetic room. With the option of complete privacy through separate floors and specially organised time slots, it is the place for massage, rituals and skin care.

Sultan Spa is a traditional hammam in a luxurious, contemporary style, just one street from the Cathedral. It specialises in fully private hammam experiences: during your session you have exclusive access to your own spa space, with a steam hammam room, a scrub ritual, a massage and a private sauna and jacuzzi.

In both salons the treatments are carried out by trained therapists dedicated to an individual approach to every guest, and we provide everything you need during your stay: from towels and slippers to disposable underwear.

OUR STORY

From one salon to two

It all began at Amman Spa, which has been running the same concept for more than five years in the heart of Baščaršija, by the City Hall. When we needed more space, Sultan Spa was born: the same spirit, a slightly different architecture.

Both salons are inspired by the Orient of Sarajevo and by keeping the tradition of the Turkish hammam alive, and we have enriched them with rituals thousands of years old, such as Ayurvedic rituals and Thai massage. In the enchanting atmosphere of both spas, it all comes together in a true spa journey into a completely different world of refreshment and relaxation.

Our philosophy is simple: if you would not eat something, you should not put it on your skin either. That is why we choose our products with particular care. The black beldi soap we use in the hammam of both salons is made especially for us by a Sarajevo company that produces natural soaps.

Privacy comes first with us: there are no other guests in your space unless you came together. That is why both salons are also hijab friendly, and what makes them special is the warm Sarajevo hospitality. The people of Sarajevo are warm-hearted, and for centuries they have made this city a place of hospitality.
