Sultan Spa & Hammam
A traditional hammam in a luxurious, contemporary style.
ABOUT THE SALON
A peaceful oasis in the heart of the Old Town
Sultan Spa & Hammam is a traditional hammam presented in a luxurious, contemporary style, ideally located in the very heart of Sarajevo’s Baščaršija (Old Town), just one street from the Cathedral. Our spa is a peaceful oasis where centuries-old hammam rituals meet modern comfort and refined design.
The interior combines oriental elegance with modern aesthetics, creating a calming and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for escaping daily obligations, business stress and the fast pace of city life. Arches, oriental patterns and soft lighting bring a touch of mystique and the Orient, and experiencing it in person is a whole other dimension.
We specialise in fully private hammam experiences, with maximum discretion and comfort. During your hammam session you have exclusive access to your own spa space: there are no other guests in the space unless you came together. That is why Sultan Spa is also hijab friendly, a peaceful oasis of relaxation for those who are looking for it.
Couples are our most frequent guests, enjoying the whole spa journey together and on their own. We just as gladly welcome bachelorette and bachelor parties, birthdays, and corporate and private group gatherings. Whether you are coming with family, friends, colleagues or as a group of tourists, Sultan Spa can welcome up to 20 guests at once. Share a traditional hammam ritual and a moment of true relaxation in a setting where oriental elegance meets modern comfort, while we take care of everything else.
We work with tourist agencies, so their guests can enjoy an authentic hammam experience in the heart of Sarajevo’s Old Town. We receive enquiries from agencies around the world, and Sultan Spa is a perfect fit for the retreat concept. To arrange a date and details, call us or message us on WhatsApp.
