The treatment begins with time in the sauna or steam bath, where the body warms up and the skin softens and prepares for the scrub. You then move to the halvat – a special room for scrubbing – where the ritual continues on a heated stone slab, with a pleasant warmth that adds to the feeling of relaxation.

Following the traditional Turkish hammam protocol, the therapist bathes the body and then scrubs it with the kese hammam glove, which removes dead skin cells and encourages the skin’s natural renewal. The ritual ends with a soap massage, which gives an extra feeling of cleanliness and comfort.

After the treatment the skin is smoother, softer and refreshed, and the whole body is free of the heaviness that often builds up after demanding days.
